• Purchase one or more track sessions.
• Sign on in the Media Suite (up the stairs
between pit garages 14 & 15) bringing your
licence with you (both parts for a photo

and track pass we send to you.
• Attend Ron Haslam’s briefing.

Scrutineering Bay in the pit lane to access

• Listen to the briefing – you’ll hear a lot of
important information and it’s vital to take it
all in.
• Relax – it’s not a race.
• If you’ve got a faster bike behind you let
them pass safely, and learn from their speed
and lines.
• Keep it on the black stuff — riding fast on
grass is like trying to run on ice.
• Make sure your helmet is the best you can
afford, and in good condition. There is no
helmet hire at Donington Park.
• Wear correct protective gear — it’s
compulsory, and you won’t get on track
without it.
• Make sure you’ve got fuel. You’ll be
surprised at how much will get used in a 15-
minute track session.
• Make sure your bike is up to it. Give your
bike a mini service and check over before
you turn up. Adjust your tyre pressures
according to the weather conditions, make
sure there’s fresh oil in the motor and that
your tyres and brakes are in good condition
with plenty of life in them.
