BIKEFEST UK 2008 SHOW REPORT
Another adrenaline fuelled day of action at BikeFest UK
Feedback from those of you that visited has been overwhelming with you all suggesting you had a fantastic day, despite the weather than insisted on being grey and dismal, it didn’t dampen your spirit and proved to be another adrenaline fuelled day of action. Early reports from KillSpills suggest that they’ve broken their own Guinness World Record for the most different models of bike on track at the same time, too. Seeing 500-odd bikes riding the GP circuit at the same time was an amazing spectacle and for a worthy campaign.

Mattie Griffin, Suzuki stunt rider, entertained the crowds with a stunning display of bike control, as did the Xtreme Trials display team, and the Globe of Death. In addition, just under a thousand individual track sessions took place, and thousands of pounds were spent in the retail zone.
Fast Bikes magazine had a busy day with thousands of you flocking to their stand throughout the day to buy the latest mag and check out the stage which saw the Chris Jones Rider’s Fund charity auction raise over £2k plus California Superbike School running riding technique workshops all day.
